Background

Telkom University grants Telkom University East Europe Scholarship Program for those who eager to learn in a multicultural country, Indonesia.

Telkom University is located in Bandung, the capital city of West Java province, Indonesia. As a tropical country passed by the equator line, Indonesia has a warm temperature in most area. Different than most area in Indonesia, Bandung is located 768 metres above sea level, thus Bandung has cooler temperature year around.

When we look back at the history of Indonesia, on Dutch colonial, they often said Bandung as ‘Parijs van Java’ as Bandung remind them to the capital city of French, Paris. Bandung is home to numerous examples of Dutch colonial architecture; most notably the tropical Art Deco, dubbed New Indies Style. Henri Maclaine-Pont was among the first Dutch architects to recognize the importance of combining each architectural style with local cultural traditions. The modern and native architectural blending was followed by several Dutch architects that have shaped the city landmarks. In the 1930s, Bandung was known also as the city of architecture laboratory because of the many Dutch architects who experimented with new architectural designs. Bandung is also one of the pioneers in Indonesian arts. In the other hand, Telkom University is a leading University in Indonesia focusing in ICT.

Telkom University East Europe Program is eligible for students from East Europe.

General Requirements

• Hold citizenship other than Indonesian.
• Maximum 25 years old when applying to diploma and undergraduate programs.
• Have a high school degree from your school at your home country (to apply for diploma program and academic bachelor program) with an average score 8/10
• Have a university degree (academic bachelor) to apply for master program with minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
• Fluent in English

Coverage of Scholarship

The scholarship scheme is based on the academic performance; Telkom University will decide the scholarship component allocation based on the GPA average score of the previous year.

1. Scholarship A (Tuition fee, dormitory, and living cost waived)

The scholarship is dedicated to students who could show the best academic performance. The minimum GPA should be maintained at least 3.00 which will be reviewed every semester. If the GPA is less than 3.00, the following scheme will apply:

1. GPA ≥ 3.00. Tuition Fee waiver 100%.
2. 2.75 ≤ GPA < 3.00. Tuition Fee waiver 75%.
3. 2.50 ≤ GPA < 2.75. Tuition Fee waiver 50%.
4. 2.25 ≤ GPA < 2.50. Tuition Fee waiver 25%.
5. GPA < 2.25. Tuition Fee waiver 0%.

Also if the student could reach GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0) we provide the dormitory for free and additional living cost.

2. Scholarship B (Tuition fee and dormitory waived)

The scholarship is dedicated to students who could show the best academic performance. The minimum GPA should be maintained at least 3.00 which will be reviewed every semester. If the GPA is less than 3.00, the following scheme will apply:

1. GPA ≥ 3.00. Tuition Fee waiver 100%.
2. 2.75 ≤ GPA < 3.00. Tuition Fee waiver 75%.
3. 2.50 ≤ GPA < 2.75. Tuition Fee waiver 50%.
4. 2.25 ≤ GPA < 2.50. Tuition Fee waiver 25%.
5. GPA < 2.25. Tuition Fee waiver 0%.

Also if the student could reach GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0) we provide the dormitory for free.

3. Scholarship C (Tuition fee waived)

The scholarship is dedicated to students who could show the best academic performance. The minimum GPA should be maintained at least 3.00 which will be reviewed every semester. If the GPA is less than 3.00, the following scheme will apply:

1. GPA ≥ 3.00. Tuition Fee waiver 100%.
2. 2.75 ≤ GPA < 3.00. Tuition Fee waiver 75%.
3. 2.50 ≤ GPA < 2.75. Tuition Fee waiver 50%.
4. 2.25 ≤ GPA < 2.50. Tuition Fee waiver 25%.
5. GPA < 2.25. Tuition Fee waiver 0%.

4. Scholarship D (Admission fee waived)

The scholarship will cover the admission fee at Telkom University.

Terms and Condition

1. Please Note that all the Scholarship of Telkom University exclude flight ticket from and to your home country.
2. Indonesian Visa Application Fee in your home country is at your own cost.

How is the selection process conducted?

1. Telkom University will select the candidates on the basis of the:
   • Academic merits
   • Motivation
   • Language Skill (English and or Bahasa Indonesia)
   • Recommendations (mandatory for master program)
   • CVs (mandatory for master program)
   • etc.
2. Online interview and or online written test if necessary.
3. Telkom University confirms the selection and assigns the grants.
4. Telkom University will announce the candidates if they have been awarded a scholarship through a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) by email or candidates may download it from https://io.telkomuniversity.ac.id/inApps/
