ECTS & grading

ECTS1 ECTS stands for a study load of 28 hours.
60 ECTS: full academic year, 30 ECTS: one semester.
Each semester consists of two quarters. Exams are taken at the end of each quarter.
Grading SystemScale from 1 – 10, at which a 10 is excellent and a 1 means very poor:
· 1 to 5,4 -> fail
· 5,5 to 10 > pass.
Transcripts will be digitally sent to the student and the partner university after the mobility period ends.
Course offeringStudents can choose for one of the packages offered in Fall or one of the packages offered in Spring semester. These are fixed courses.

During the Spring semester February 8 – July 19, 2019 Saxion offer the following course packages. Good to know:

 The programme in Enschede is a fixed programme. You can drop courses, but not add ones.

 In Deventer you can choose your subjects from the list below – XEIFA1VT-2.2. Note: for a balanced spread choose 15 ECTS per quarter.

 Acceptance depends on the number of available places.
