Longitude Prize 2014 Competition

We would like to inform for the opportunity to follow the Longitude Prize 2014 competition held by Nesta together InnovateUK. Nesta is a charitable organization that supports the development and transnational research to improve the quality of life. Innovate UK is the UK Government’s Technology Strategy Board that fund, support and connect innovative businesses to accelerate sustainable economic growth.

Longitude Prize 2014 is a competition that is accompanied by a prize fund GBP 10 million to help solve the global problem of antibiotic resistance. The challenge in this competition is fatherly create bacterial infection test kits are cheap, accurate, fast and easy to use. The competition was held by Nesta, which is supported by Innovate UK, the new name for the Technology Strategy Board (Technology Strategy Board), as a funding partner.

This competition has been open since Nov. 18, 2014 and the deadline for the first assessment is May 31, 2015. The competition will last until 2019. The competition can be followed by any individual or organization affiliated or partnered with organizations in the UK.
