BANDUNG, TEL-U – The Faculty of Communications and Business’ students, Telkom \u00a0University (FKB Tel-U) achieved 3rd place in the Public Relations Debate Competition which was held at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) in Yogyakarta, Communications Kampuang in 2015. In a race that was held on 25 and May 28 2015, Telkom University’s team managed to set aside a number of participants from various universities in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The themes debated in the race range from about MEA viewed from the perspective of science communication, especially Public Relations. Tel-U team consists of Ricky Aditya (Business Administration Program), and Surya Budi Setiawan Dinda Putri (Communication Studies Program).<\/p>\n
This competition uses the knockout system. That is, each team only has one chance in every game. For the first game, Tel-U team paired with the host team, UII.<\/p>\n
“In this first game, a system error occurs from the committee side, but ended with a victory for the Tel-U team. The victory drove us straight into the round of 8 large. Allhamdulilah Tel-U team obtained the highest score, “said Budi Setiawan.<\/p>\n
In quarter-finals, leaving UNDIP Team, Budi Luhur University team, UNPAD team and Tel-U team. In this round, Tel-U team was met with UNPAD Tim, and Tel-U team had to have a big heart for losing to UNPAD Team. At racing round for the 3rd Champion Team Tel-U was met with Budi Luhur University team.<\/p>\n
