Annual Event. Telkom University<\/a> International Office organize some annual events for international students. Any international students in Indonesia or overseas are welcome to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These annual evens are different with any short course or short program, because it usually involved with many students and contain certain vision. Until today, we have at least 2 events every year, they are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. International Students Gathering (ISG)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ISG\nis the event where international students from various countries get together\nto discuss youth issues that is relevant with current situation. Several issues\nthat have been discussed in ISG are \u201cYouth Diplomacy\u201d and \u201cAsia-Africa Forum\u201d.\nWe collaborated with the ministry of foreign affairs, Museum of Asian-African\nConference, and other organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every\nyear, we get great feedback from international students who take part in this\nactivity. Because it turns out they have lots of ideas and thoughts to share,\nto improve the world to be a better place. ISG is also a place where they can\nmeet and interact with other international students. More than 100 students\nattend this event every year, mostly participant is international students from\nlocal university in West Java, Jakarta, dan Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Indonesia Culture Summer Camp (ICSC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indonesia Culture Summer\nCamp (ICSC) is a new program initiated by Telkom University in the context of\ntransmitting the Indonesian “virus” to the world community. This\nevent is a place for students and international students who want to learn\nIndonesian Language and Indonesian culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ICSC is a series of activities that last for three days, which consist of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.    Introducing Indonesian Language through the Indonesian Language program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.    Introduction to Indonesian Culture<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.    Cultural Games<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.    Cultural performances<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.    Cooking Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nparticipant of ICSC is international students both in Indonesia and abroad. They\nwill learn Bahasa Indonesia, Indonesian Culture, perform several Indonesian\ncultures, and cook signature dish from their home country. Since the event held\nfor 3 days, all participants are provided dormitory by Telkom University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
