ASIC International Accreditation

Telkom University Added 6 Study Programs in ASIC International Accreditation.

6 Bachelor Study Programs from 3 Faculties at Telkom University namely Communication Science, Business Administration, International ICT Business, Accounting, Fine Arts and Visual Communication Design successfully obtained ASIC international accreditation (Accreditation for International Schools, Colleges and Universities) based in the UK.

The certificate was given on October 1, 2018 by Lee Hammond CEO ASIC to the Vice Rector 1 in Academic Affairs, Dr. Dadan Rahadian, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dodie Tricahyono, Ph.D, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Business, Ade Irma S, Ph.D and Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industry, Dr. Didiet Widiatmoko, accompanied by the vice dean of each faculty, and the head of the study program.

Previously, Telkom University have had 3 international accreditations, with this additional accreditation obtained, there are 9 study programs that are internationally accredited. Telkom University targets that by the end of 2018, there will be five other study programs.

Vice Rector 1 for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dadan Rahadian, explained that the number of internationally accredited study programs is a part of the focus to be able to improve institutional aspects that have an impact on the ranking of universities, moreover we can provide value that can be useful for stakeholders especially Telkom university students and alumni.

The Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Anisah Firli explained that these six study programs achieved ASIC accreditation with the title “Premier”, the highest predicate in ASIC accreditation, the six study programs excelled in the categories: Premises and Health & Safety; Management and Staff Resources; Learning, Teaching and Course Delivery; Quality Assurance and Enhancement; Student Welfare; Marketing and Recruitment.

“With the standards set by international accreditation we are assisted and continue to strive to improve the quality to be able to exceed the established standards.” Firli said.
