DESCRIPTIONAfter the course, students are expected to be able to make a proper business study. The course discusses concepts, approaches, methods and techniques in business research. It also discusses the implementation of research methods, particularly in business management.
LEARNING OBJECTIVESAfter the course, students are required to be able to conduct research in business.
COMPETENCIESUnderstanding the role of business research, various kinds of business research, theory bulidng, and ethical issues implemented in business research, listing research questions in business research, as well as the the differences between qualitative and quantitative research, determining business research design in line with the research question, demonstrating business research proposal, completing research data through field survey or literature study, analyzing the result obtained from field survey or lieterature study, as well as planning business research.
SUBJECTThe role of business research and theory building, business research process and ethical issue, problem definition, research proposal, quantitative and qualitative analysis, survey research, validity and reliability test, data collection, data editing, data processing, report writing, and presentation.
